BECOME / CONSORTIUMS

Build the right consortium around the right challenge

A strong consortium begins with a shared problem and partners whose contributions fit together.

Propose a contribution to a consortium

BECOME welcomes discussions with coordinators, researchers, companies and institutions developing collaborative projects in our five DeepTech domains. The starting point is the work the project needs, the expertise each participant can contribute and the conditions for delivery.

Bring a defined opportunity

Share a non-confidential summary of the challenge, the intended beneficiaries or users, the relevant call where applicable and the timetable. Explain the contribution you are seeking: scientific investigation, application design, capacity building or another clearly scoped role.

Develop a credible project structure

  • Clarify the objectives and the evidence supporting the project idea.
  • Identify complementary capabilities and gaps in the proposed team.
  • Define work packages, deliverables, dependencies and responsibilities.
  • Discuss delivery resources, governance and the next decision point.

Opportunities at different stages

An exploratory discussion may develop into a proposal, but each stage requires a separate decision. Published opportunities identify whether they are in exploration, preparation or awaiting a decision, together with any confirmed response deadline.

Have expertise to contribute?

Describe your relevant work, the role you could take and the resources you could commit. Links to public research or project references are useful at this stage.
