Pr. Debouba is a distinguished academician, currently serving as a director and an associate professor at the Higher Institute of Applied Biology of Medenine, part of Gabes University. Previously, in 2013, he served as the Academic Coordinator for the prestigious Erasmus Mundus EGOV-TN project, showcasing his adeptness in managing international academic initiatives. His dedication to academic administration was further evident in his role as the Director of the Department of Environmental Sciences in 2012 and as a Coordinator of a Professional Master program in 2016. He contributes his expertise as a member of the National Sectoral Commission for Agricultural and Food Sciences and plays a pivotal role in the selection committee for biology contract workers at the University of Gabès. Since 2016, he has served as a member of the Theses and University Accreditation Committee, influencing academic standards and accreditation processes positively.
