Sherif Keshk is a Professor and Senior expert at the University of Sfax, ENIS, Food Analysis, Valorization, and Safety Laboratory, LAVASA, Tunisia. Previously affiliated with Research and Technology Centre of Energy, Technoparc Borj Cedria (Tunisia), King Khalid University (Saudi Arabia), and Ain Shams University (Egypt). He got his M.Sc. from the Chemistry department, at Alexandria University, (EGYPT) and his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Engineering, Tokyo Metropolitan University, (JAPAN). Prof. Sherif Keshk supervised on 12 Ph.D. and 8 M.Sc. students at Egypt, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia universities in polymer fields.
Keshk has more than 100 scientific publications and has more than 65 communications in international congress. He received three international awards, TOP 2% of the world’s Scholars 2020-2022 (Stanford University); BEST PROJECT for 2015, King Abdel Aziz City for Science and Technology and BEST RESEARCHER for 2009, Ain Shams University, EGYPT. Furthermore, Keshk has several national and international projects since 2000 from USA-Egypt cooperation, the Japanese Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS), Ain Shams University, Kochi University, Toyota company, King Khalid University, and King Abdel Aziz City for Science and Technologies (KACT).
Keshk currently leads the Polymer Chemistry Group at both Nanomaterials and Systems for Renewable Energy Laboratory and Laboratory of Bioresources, Environment, and Biotechnology. His research interests include the development of the synthetic methodology of biopolymer composites and characterization techniques and their application in optoelectronic devices.
