Khaled Charradi is a researcher specializing in Materials Science and Energy at the Research and Technology Center of Energy (CRTEn) in Technoparc Borj Cédria, Tunis. His work focuses on renewable energy, with a particular emphasis on the development and application of hydrogen technologies. He earned his Ph.D. in Inorganic and Bio-Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Grenoble in 2010. During his postdoctoral research, as part of the European ETRERA project, Khaled contributed to significant advancements in Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC) and hydrogen fuel cell technology.
With over 35 publications in leading scientific journals, Khaled Charradi is recognized as an expert in hydrogen production and utilization. His research explores innovative methods for hydrogen generation, storage solutions, and the development of hydrogen fuel cells as sustainable energy sources. He collaborates with researchers across Europe and Africa, contributing to global research initiatives in hydrogen technologies.
In addition to his research, Dr. Charradi teaches at the Institute of Environment in Borj Cédria, where he mentors the next generation of scientists in renewable energy. He has supervised numerous master’s and Ph.D. theses. Khaled is also an active member of several scientific journal editorial boards and has organized international conferences on Materials and Energy (AMGEC in 2021, 2022, and 2023), where he has shared his insights into hydrogen technologies and their practical applications.
